At lollipop mentoring, we believe in lifting as we rise — because Black women deserve to thrive. What started as a part-time passion project has grown into a powerful movement, connecting hundreds of mentors and mentees across the UK. With minimal funding but maximum heart, we’ve created a community where confidence grows, careers accelerate, and connection changes everything. Our mentees are thriving, our mentors are learning, and together we’re proving that mentorship can be a catalyst for real, lasting change.

Join the effort to nurture and promote Black female talent by becoming a mentor. We welcome mentors of any gender and background to support Black women as they progress in their careers. To apply, you should have at least five years of experience and be in a leadership position or own a business. Take concrete action to create change by signing up to be a mentor today.

Safe Spaces
lollipop hosts regular round tables where Black mentees can join to discuss issues they’re facing in a relaxed, open and sumptuous environment (more on this to come). We want you to be your full selves, make friends and share experiences.

Improve your network by meeting and connecting with not only your mentor but other mentors in the lollipop community. All we ask is that in the future you pay it forward by becoming a mentor and helping a future lollipop mentee. Each one teach one.
